Emergency Headache Treatment
We at The Westchester Headache Center recognize that there are times when our patients develop acute severe headache pain which fails to respond to the normal treatment modalities. At such times we make ourselves available on a 24/7 basis to treat our patients on an emergency basis and our goal set to relieve them of their intractable pain. Because of our special interest in the treatment of headaches we utilize medications that are not typically employed in hospital emergency rooms.
We also have the ability to provide intravenous therapy, hydration, and utilize a myraid of medications that can be administered orally, subcutaneously, intramuscularly and by IV depending upon the patient's needs at the time of their treatment.
